To accept the offer of William C. Chewning to convey to the City of Richmond for $81,000 seven parcels of land, containing in the aggregate 10,846 square feet, more or less, known, numbered and designated 705, 707, 711, 713-715, 717, 721 and 725 Third Street, all fronting (an aggregate frontage of 174.27 feet) on the easterly right of way line of Third Street north of Jackson Street and extending back to an alley (abutting said alley an aggregate distance of 158.4 feet), necessary for establishing a visitor’s orientation center, as shown shaded upon the copy of the plan on file in the Department of Public Works, marked “Drawing No. P-21564”.
