To close to public use and traveI a portion of Madison Street, 45 feet, more or less, in width, extending in a northeasterly direction a distance of 140 feet, more or less, from the northerly right of way line of Canal Street, lying 79 feet, more or less, northeast of the intersection of the northerly right of way line of said Canal Street with the easterly right of way line of Belvidere Street, con­taining 6,300 square feet, more or less, shown shaded on Department of Public Works Drawing No. M-21604, entitled: "Proposed Closing of Madison St. Between Belvidere, Cary, Canal and Jefferson Streets.", upon certain terms and conditions.
