Description
Ongoing development has employed expanded polystyrene panels as cladding for the townhouses actively being built. Over the past several days (starting 04/13/2024) workers have been manually shaving down the panels, releasing thousands of polystyrene particles into the air and surrounding area that have blown around and landed all over properties in the area and have accumulated on the ground. Unless some cleanup occurs they will primarily wash directly into the James river, but there have been no visible efforts made to contain or clean up the pollution.
