Description

There is a big pile of carpet and padding remnants on the ground behind the Richmond Decorating Center building at 6305 Hull Street Road. The pile is behind/beside the big dumpster. The area is also littered with plastic bottles, wrappings and trash. A lot of the trash is down the ravine and into the creek that flows through there. That creek is a water source for a lot of animals that live in the woods: deer, rabbits, squirrels, birds, woodchucks, opossums, foxes and even rats. Those carpet and padding remnants have chemicals and being exposed to the elements I am afraid some of those chemicals will wind up in the water that those animals need to survive. The pile is unsightly and needs to be removed along with the plastic trash littering the area, the ravine and the creek. Thank you.

Marking these older requests from 2021 and 2022 as completed - all litter was picked up, but the request just was not marked as completed. If by chance there is still some issue requiring attention, please submit a new request in RVA311.
