*** on north Harvie heading toward main st Over a period of 8-10 months, there has been unlawful dumping and accumulation of garbage from 1321 Floyd Avenue. The address of this accumulation can be confirmed by the shipping labels left on the many boxes recently moved from the alley to a public sidewalk. The tenants in 1321 Floyd Avenue have cleared out the alley by dumping the entirety of their waste onto the public sidewalk of north Harvie. Through Public Records search, Evan Feinman is the current owner of this property. I reached out directly to Mr. Feinman via email with suggestions to a resolution and looking for answers on how to move forward. Almost 1 year later, there has still been no progress or accountability. Myself, and surrounding neighbors, have been taking the trash belonging to the tenants of 1321 Floyd Avenue, in effort not to smell the waste or risk additional vermin and rodents in our homes. The information regarding address and name is not speculation, although myself, my father and other neighbors saw Madison Pope, the current tenant, bringing boxes that have not been broken down, glass bottles and trash to the sidewalk; this is based on the shipping labels that were left on every soiled unbroken down box piled atop trash cans and on the sidewalk. The DPW should not be responsible for cleaning up this monstrosity of a health hazard and an eyesore that has grown Incredibly worse over an 8 month period. Best, Ashley weir

- Staff · June 16, 2020Please call 911 when you see someone illegally dumping. The owner of the property can file a report to have the illegal dumping investigated. Please notify DPW to respond and remove the debris.
