Description

Landlord provides inadequate trash service (inside valet trash not picked up frequently enough) and residents have filled recycle cans with trash that has sat in rain with vermin eating out of cans for over a month. I have bagged the filth in largest size black trash bags but neither Richmond trash service nor recycle service are responsible and unlikely to collect and I need PD support to make landlord take its responsibility and haul away. Landlord is The Collection Midtown 888-405-5196 or 804-482-4024 (but I don’t trust landlord to publicize phone numbers adequately). Landlord is private equity owned with no local interest in Richmond. Local employees are likely not adequately supported. Landlord unlikely to act responsibly without threat of fine or official action. Your assistance to make landlord haul trash or have it collected by Richmond trash service much appreciated. Prompt action appreciated as vermin will rip into bags I have used to contain trash at the moment.

Please notify DPW to have the trash collected and see if extra trash cans can be deployed.
