Description
Citizen calling regarding speeding on Brookland Pkwy between Brook Rd and Hermitage Rd; states vehicles use it as a go through to get to highway; states there have been accidents and his vehicle was totaled; requests speed humps

- Staff · September 8, 2026The Department of Public Works (DPW) is working with the Richmond Police Department (RPD) on sign adjustments placing key signs (e.g., speed limit) in the median closer to the vehicle lane instead of on the left shoulder where visibility is less given parked vehicles, the buffer lane and the bike lane. DPW is also furnishing the RPD with speed data along the corridor for enforcement purposes.
