Description
Eastbound vehicle traffic in the one-way section of Forest Hill Ave. between W. 34th St (200 block) and W. 34th (400 block) rarely stops for pedestrians at the two crosswalks at W. 34th St. and Forest Hill Ave due to high speed. A speed table in this section of Forest Hill Ave would improve pedestrian safety in the two crosswalks, and reduce the risk of the near-misses as cars turn left from W. 34th St (400 block) onto Forest Hill Ave with poor visibility at that T-intersection.
