Description
The Cutshaw/Tilden intersection only has stop signs on Tilden and people frequently park all the way to the intersection, blocking visibility for drivers and pedestrians alike. I witness near accidents involving both cars and pedestrians every week. Similar to the request I see someone else submitted for the Cutshaw/Roseneath intersection one block away, I am requesting the Cutshaw/Tilden intersection become a 4-way stop.

- Staff · August 17, 2026The Department of Public Works must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before proposing an all-way stop. This is a federal publication that applies to all streets open to public travel. Warrants in the MUTCD must be met. The intersection of Commerce Rd and Perry St does not meet the traffic volume requirements for an all-way stop. DPW will review for No Parking signs to enhance intersection sight distance.
