- Staff · August 10, 2026A City inspector visited the location and confirmed that the sidewalk impacts are associated with ongoing construction activity. Crews were performing power washing operations and concrete sidewalk repairs at the time of the inspection. The power washing operation was temporary and was expected to be completed shortly after the inspection. The inspector also confirmed that the sidewalk on the opposite side of Hermitage Road remained open and available for pedestrian use while the work was underway. The Department of Public Works will continue to monitor the work as necessary to ensure that impacts to the public right-of-way are appropriately managed.
