Description
This intersection is extremely dangerous and in a school zone directly next to Dogwood middle school who's students need to cross this intersection on a daily basis. Cars see pedestrians in the cross walk and continue drive without hesitation through the cross walk, even when a group of children are waiting to cross. The measures the city has taken so far (signage, speed bumps and bump out median) have still not corrected the problem. This intersection NEEDS a traffic light!

The intersection of W. Main St and Allen Ave does not meet the traffic requirements of the MUTCD traffic signal warrants.
