Description

With the removal of tolling on the Powhite exit ramp, cars now exit from Powhite and merge onto westbound Forest Hill Avenue at considerable speed. There is a pedestrian crossing that is not visible for cars moving at speed, and the pedestrian crossing sign is blocked by vegetation. With the change in this roadway condition due to open road tolling, another look really needs to be taken at the pedestrian crossing at this off-ramp. A signalized pedestrian beacon, at a minimum, should be added.
