Description
The city has marked the dead street tree in front of my property for removal and replacement. Before the replacement species is selected, I would like to request a flowering ornamental tree. My first preference is a flowering cherry, Prunus × yedoensis or Prunus serrulata. If a flowering cherry is not suitable for this planting site, my alternate preferences are Eastern redbud, white fringetree, flowering dogwood, or Japanese snowbell.
