Description

Bliley Road carries roughly 2,700 vehicles each day, yet much of it has six-inch shoulders, deep ditches, no sidewalks, and poor sight distance. The City’s own multimodal study identified a clear need for pedestrian improvements and recommended a sidewalk, but there is still no firm construction schedule. How much longer will Richmond wait to address these known hazards before a preventable tragedy occurs?

I did not see a project for Bliley Road in the Adopted 2027 Budget for Richmond. I suggest you share your concerns with your City Council Representative.
