Description
Previous pothole repairs were overfilled, creating a severe hazard and structural vibrations to adjacent homes. Other repairs have crumbled, making deeper holes. The jarring impact of a multi-ton bus hitting an asphalt ridge or deep hole is causing continuous structural vibrations to our historic home and 100 year old retaining walls. A huge tree fell since the vibrations increased. We’ll begin to assess what other damage could be incurred. Road must be smoothed to prevent property damage.
