Description

Observe frequent near-misses @ the crosswalk here with pedestrians crossing Cary vs. cars turning left from Belmont onto Cary. Drivers consistently look west (their right) for cars and then turn without looking for crossing pedestrians in crosswalk. Green light for turn onto one-way may be confusing. Would be helpful to stagger the ped signal a bit to give peds a head start, change green light to a flashing yellow, or at least add signage for drivers advising them to yield to peds in crossing.
