Description
The asphalt and concrete-lined ditch/gutter along Skipton Road is failing. There is cracked, crumbling pavement and excessive breakthrough vegetation. Given the direct connection between this channel and the James River, we have avoided use of chemical herbicides. The crumbling asphalt and vegetation have become increasingly difficult to manage, and we are requesting the City's assistance in assessing and maintaining the ditch/gutter to prevent further deterioration and erosion.
