Comments
- Staff · May 12, 2026Based on the information currently provided, the reported issues primarily appear to relate to potential permitting and workplace safety concerns. At this time, the Department of Public Works is reviewing whether any portion of the work may involve impacts within the public right-of-way, such as sidewalk obstruction, curb/sidewalk work, lane impacts, or other conditions affecting public access or safety. Please note that workplace safety matters, including personal protective equipment (PPE) and OSHA-related concerns, are generally regulated through occupational safety and building/construction enforcement authorities rather than DPW right-of-way enforcement. The location will be reviewed further to determine whether any public right-of-way violations or permitting issues fall within DPW jurisdiction or whether coordination with other City departments may be appropriate. Thank you again for bringing the matter to the City’s attention.
