Description
Crossing Huguenot @ Cherokee is consistently a game of chicken because both sides of Cherokee get the green light at the same time. People don’t yield to traffic going straight across Hugenot as they should and they just turn left once the light turns green. I’ve been nearly hit multiple times. This intersecion would be much safer of each side of Cherokee had separate green lights. Or, separate turning and straight lanes so people would realize they need to yield to oncoming traffic.
