Description
Property owner has a WISP allowing for closure of sidewalk and parking lane on Alle Ave adjacent to church property, however construction dumpster and fencing project well into the roadway, far beyond one parking lane, limiting car travel to one way on Allen Ave. Without a flagger or proactive traffic control, this is not acceptable (particularly given the length of the permit).

Comments
- Staff · March 30, 2026I wanted to provide you with an update regarding your reported concern at or near 1801 Park Avenue. An inspector has visited the site and coordinated directly with the contractor. The contractor has since adjusted the fencing to move it closer to the curbline, bringing it more in line with the permitted parking lane area. In addition, they are in the process of installing additional traffic control signage to improve safety and visibility at the location. We are continuing to follow up to ensure the site is fully compliant with permit requirements, including confirming that there is no encroachment into the travel lane and that appropriate traffic control measures are in place.
