Description
Vehicles park partially on street and partially on verge/sidewalk in response to speeding traffic and concern about parked cars being struck. Cars restrict access to sidewalks, creating barriers for pedestrians, and those with mobility needs. Parking on the verge causes soil compaction, contributing to standing water/mud. There is no signage or marked parking guidance, and no apparent enforcement of parking on sidewalks/verges. We need marked/defined parking lanes and traffic calming measures.
