Description
I am reporting a high-risk pedestrian safety hazard located at E Byrd St & S 7th St. I've used this crosswalk for 2 years and cars rarely stop for pedestrians. I've been nearly hit numerous times, honked at, and forced to wave my arms in the air to get cars to stop for me. Current signs are ignored. If Richmond cares about Vision Zero, I am requesting a pedestrian activated flashing light be installed. Static signs are failing and flashing lights are required before a tragedy occurs.
