Description
There is a dumpster that has been sitting on Grove Ave for months now that is blocking the ability to see on oncoming traffic when cars pull out of Lexington. Several neighbors have commented on close calls due to speeding cars that are not seen until too close due to the placement of that dumpster. The addition it was for looks complete. Please have them remove it.

- Staff · March 23, 2026DPW staff field reviewed this matter and confirmed an active City Work in Street Permit allows for the placement of a dumpster within the public right-of-way to support a project through July 1, 2026. The field review showed the dumpster positioned approximately 65–70 feet from the intersection and does not appear to create a significant sight distance obstruction or immediate traffic hazard. DPW will continue to monitor the situation, and if conditions change or safety concerns become substantiated, further action can be taken.
