Description

The left lane of Three Chopt heading SE towards Kensington (between Patterson and Kensington), right before the turn into the Village Shopping center, has two dangerous dips. It looks like there was work done that has settled too much. The problem appeared after the large snow/ice storm in January 2026. Vehicles brake suddenly or try to drive around the dips in the right lane (right-turn only) or crossing the double yellow. Taking dips too fast could damage vehicles.
