Comments
- Staff · March 13, 2026Thank you for contacting the City regarding your concerns about activity in the alley behind 5122 Dorchester Road. A field inspection of the area was conducted by a City inspector to review the conditions described in the service request. At the time of the inspection, the alley was observed to be clear and passable, and no vehicles or equipment were found blocking access within the public right-of-way. The inspector did observe several work vehicles and tree service equipment staged on a lot across from 5122 Dorchester Road; however, the equipment appeared to be located on private property and not within the alley or public right-of-way. Additionally, no active work activity was occurring in the alley at the time of the inspection. Based on the conditions observed during the site visit, no obstruction within the public right-of-way was identified that would require enforcement action by the Department of Public Works. We will keep the information on file and continue to monitor the area should additional concerns arise. Thank you again for bringing this matter to our attention. Please feel free to contact our office if you have any further questions or if conditions change.
