Following a field inspection, our staff confirmed that the items in question (two flowerpots) are located within the public right-of-way, specifically within the curbside parking lane in front of 2111 5th Avenue. As a result, this condition has been determined to be an unauthorized encroachment. A formal notice has been issued to the property owner requesting that the items be removed from the public street area and relocated onto private property. The resident has been provided a compliance timeframe and asked to confirm once the items have been removed so that we may verify and close the case accordingly. We will continue to monitor this location and take any additional action as necessary to ensure compliance and maintain safe and accessible public right-of-way conditions.
