Comments
- Staff · March 12, 2026A field inspection of the location was conducted. During the inspection, the sidewalk on the southbound (even-numbered) side of the street was found to be clear and accessible to pedestrians. On the northbound side of Hermitage Road, a portion of the sidewalk is temporarily closed due to an active construction project operating under a valid right-of-way permit (WISP #137813-2024). The assigned inspector spoke directly with the project manager on site and requested that additional signage be installed to better notify pedestrians of the temporary sidewalk closure and improve awareness of the conditions in the area. At this time, the condition is associated with permitted work occurring in the public right-of-way. The situation will continue to be monitored to ensure the contractor maintains appropriate traffic control and pedestrian safety measures.
