Traffic calming measures such as speed tables are planned when the speed samples show the need to reduce the speed down to the posted speed. For residential areas 25 mph is the statutory speed limit. (Unless there is a speed limit sign stating otherwise, the maximum speed limit for passenger vehicles and motorcycles is 25 MPH for school, business and residential areas. *) The sampled average speeds on Lost Lane, Talbert Dr and Springton Rd are all less than 17mph in 25mph zones therefore speed tables are not planned. *Source the Department of Motor Vehicles.
