Description

Bliley road has consistent pedestrian traffic as well as school children waiting for the bus but there is ZERO shoulder and no sidewalk. If a car comes anyone walking on the road has to jump off into the gutter. It is a serious risk for pedestrian and driver safety. As someone who lives on and regularly runs in the area, it makes me feel incredibly unsafe

DPW contracted with a transportation consultant earlier reviewing Bliley Rd between Forest Hill Ave and Blakemore Rd and made preliminary recommendations for pedestrian and bike accommodations. There are no allocations for plan development or construction in the Adopted Annual Fiscal Plan for FY2026.
