Description
Due to the weather event and the thickness of the asphalt topping. The sub base material has become soft and in the travel path, the tires have pushed the material out causing a rut and caused a mixture of asphalt topping and clay material to be pushed up about 6" above existing road elevation. excavation and installation of base apshalt would be best suited. Mill and overlay would not be recomended. Unsure if DPW asphalt contract has this ability for this application. Please assess when able.
