- Staff · February 17, 2026Thank you for contacting the City of Richmond regarding the condition of the fire hydrant near 3033 Park Ave. A field inspection has been completed. While no active leaks were observed at the time of the site visit, the hydrant does show visible signs of exterior rusting and deterioration. As a result, the concern is being forwarded to the Department of Public Utilities (DPU) for further evaluation and any necessary maintenance or corrective action.
