Description
There is a 15mph advisory sign for the curve at Southhaven Rd headed east. Shouldn't there be a similar advisory sign for the curve as you head west, traveling down the hill?

- Staff · March 3, 2026I am using the 2025 Google Street view to identify existing warning signs and 5mph advisory signs in the area. Cherokee Rd eastbound has a “curve warning” sign, (approximately at 10480 Cherokee Rd). Cherokee Rd westbound has a “Watch for turning vehicles Next 1800 Ft” signs, (approximately at 10401 Cherokee Rd). DMV crash records for the latest four years (1.1.22-12.31.25) did not show any reported crashes along Cherokee Rd between these two signs. Both signs give a warning to motorists to some activity ahead and ok. No changes are currently planned. For the speed table on Southaven Rd there are 15mph advisory warning signs in both directions of the speed table. Please submit another RVA311 request if I identified the wrong location for your concern.
