Make the following side streets one way in the follow dorection in Byrd park: from Lakeview ave to Grayland ave: Addison - One way, north direction Davis ave - one way, south direction Stafford - one way, south direction Rowland - one way, north direction Shields ave - one way, south direction This will slow cars as its needed as many kjds play and walk to LHJ elembatary on these ide streets. - Staff · February 19, 2026I suggest the neighborhood formally discuss these two-way to one-way street conversions first (including the desired one-way direction) and reach a consensus. If the conversion is supported by the neighborhood and the City Council Representative then DPW will explore the conversion in more detail including support from the Fire Department, the impact on safety/operations, service deliveries to the neighborhood, etc.
