Description

After stopping in for coffee at Crossroads, we decided to cross Forest Hill Avenue to head down into Forest Hill Park. We pressed the pedestrian signal button and it said "Wait." We never received a "walk signal" and the lights for drivers never turned red. With all of the pedestrian deaths and accidents in the city, it's of paramount importance that these signals actually do their job - lulling pedestrians into a false sense of security at a painted crosswalk a recipe for disaster.
