Description

The city needs to install bollards or flex posts in the bike lane on Grayland Ave between Shields and Meadow - ideally all the way to S Harrison. Cars consistently park in the bike lane because there isn't a physical barrier, and the painted yellow lines are not enough of a deterrent. Bicycles traveling in the bike lane are forced to into oncoming traffic when cars are parked in the bike lane.

I discussed with TB in Traffic Engineering. He suggested the location be enforced. I explained that it only happens when there are services at the funeral home, and it is not a location on one their route. For SP+ to enforce, they would need to be notified when an event is taking place, or someone would have to call it in. He suggested the no action is necessary.
