- Staff · January 14, 2026The Department of Public Works must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. This is a federal publication that applies to all streets open to public travel. McCloy St as it intersects with Maplewood Ave does not meet the MUTCD traffic volume requirements for an all-way stop. Crosswalks exist on the west leg of Maplewood Ave and on the north leg of McCloy St.
