Description

Cars, including police cruisers, routinely ignore this busy crosswalk during drop off and pickup at Richmond Waldorf School. The speed limit is 25mph, but cars drive through at 40 or more, not stopping for families in the crosswalk. Requesting rapid flashing beacons at this crosswalk for more visibility.

    RRFB’s at the crosswalk on Brookland Parkway and Lamont St are not in the Fiscal Year 2026 Annual Fiscal Plan. A crosswalk and pedestrian crossing signs are present. The average speed on Brookland Parkway between Robin Hood Rd and Brook Rd ranged between 14-32mph eastbound and 20-31mph westbound.
