Thank you for your report regarding conditions along Somerset Avenue. Department of Public Works staff conducted a field inspection at the reported location to evaluate the placement of rocks and any potential impacts to the public right-of-way. Based on the site review, the rocks at the reported address appear to be located along the grass line adjacent to the gravel shoulder and do not clearly encroach into the public right-of-way or obstruct the traveled way at this time. No immediate safety or access issues were observed that would warrant enforcement action. Similar conditions were observed elsewhere along the corridor, and DPW will continue to monitor the area as needed to ensure public safety and consistency with City standards. At this time, no further action is required, and this request will be closed. We appreciate you taking the time to share your concern. If conditions change or a new safety issue arises, please feel free to submit another request for review.
