Description

ASHE BLVD - between ASHE TENNIS COURTS and BOAT LAKE where boat lake wooden stairs end/start: Need visible crosswalk: - cery visible paint - guarded rails / cement - electronic button alerts for pedestrians to press - addiitonal markers to slow traffic This street is crossed by hundreds a day and over 30+ kids daily to go to LHJ elementary. Street is very confusing and dangerous to cross and is used by pedestrians every minute.

    A mid-block pedestrian crossing on Arthur Ashe Blvd at the “wooden stairs” with electronic push button alerts is a capital improvements and not in the adopted FY26 City Budget.
