Description

Please add leading pedestrian intervals at all 4 crosswalks at the intersection of Brook Rd and Brookland Pkwy/Brookland Park Blvd. Since this intersection is so large, pedestrians have a long ways to cross and adding a 5 or more second leading pedestrian interval would make it far more safe for vulnerable users. Thank you

An engineering analysis was done and does not support any leading pedestrian interval plans at Brook and Westbrook given the number of pedestrians crossing. Also, DMV crash records for the latest nine years (1.1.17-12.31.25) did not show any reported pedestrian crashes at this intersection.
