Description
SInce the new installation our neighborhood has witnessed vehicles not obeying the traffic laws and entering the cross walk while pedestrians are occupying the space. I suggest when the cross walk signal is activated it stops all traffic in all directions. This would increase pedestrian safety.

- Staff · February 24, 2026The new traffic signal at Semmes Ave and W. 34th St was built and accepted recently for maintenance by the city. All way pedestrian walk displays are not planned at this time. Walk lights are displayed for crossing W. 34th St and push buttons for walk lights are available when crossing Semmes Ave.
