Description
As a result of request #DPW000201187, a sign indicating that Route 6 shifts over from Patterson Ave to Kensington Ave was installed on eastbound Patterson on the bridge over I-195. However, the sign installed was a U.S. Route 6 sign instead of a State Route 6 sign - U.S. Route 6 is way up in Pennsylvania! Can this be swapped out or patched over with the correct sign?

- Staff · January 5, 2026The sign was approved by TED and installed in the middle of the right-turn lane as vehicles approach the right-curving lane. The right-turn lane begins as you approach the overpass. Again, the sign is located in the center of the turn lane. I believe this placement is the reason for the right-arrow indication.
