The Fire Marshall does not support speed tables on Mechanicsville Ave (Route 360) given the functional classification of an urban minor arterial, a strategic route for emergency vehicles and carrying over 10,000 vehicles a day. (Mechanicsville Turnpike has the same classification as Broad St (Route 250) and as Belvidere St (Routes 1 and 301) to name a couple of streets and neither Broad St nor Belvidere St have speed tables.)
