Description

This request is not so much a typical repair. The red traffic intersection light when it is red, is keeping traffic sitting extensive period of unnecessary time on bellevue avenue... almost 45 seconds or more. As a resident of this neighborhood for over 20 years, I'm requesting that the time be reduced to 30 seconds wait time before the signal light changes green. Thank you.

Dear Citizen, Thank you for sharing your concerns regarding the traffic signal at the intersection of Bellevue Avenue@ Hermitage Road. I attempted to contact you by phone to gather more information about your concern, but I was unable to reach you. After reviewing the intersection, I can confirm that the signal is operating as it was designed and timed. Based on current traffic conditions, the intersection is functioning efficiently and is currently operating at an overall Level of Service (LOS) A. Given this, no further action is required at this time. I will be closing this request, but please feel free to reach out if you notice any changes or have additional concerns in the future.
