- Staff · December 17, 2025A Department of Public Works supervisor visited the location today and spoke directly with the contractor working at the property. The contractor has been instructed to relocate the trailer and remove the obstruction to restore full pedestrian access to the sidewalk, and they have agreed to comply prior to leaving the site today. At this time, the issue is considered addressed, and we will continue to monitor the location to ensure the sidewalk remains clear and accessible. If the obstruction returns or you observe any additional concerns, please do not hesitate to submit another request or contact RVA311. We appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention and helping us keep Richmond’s sidewalks safe and accessible for all.
