Description

The sidewalk at the corner of blanton and garrett streets is broken and raised up. This is a trip hazard for the 1000s of people that stream to/from events in the park and is a blocker for emergency egress from First Unitarian church for abled and disabled congregants.. I have observed numerous people tripping here when accessing the park for Arts in the Park and the Veg fest.

This location was inspected on 01/13/26. There is 15ft of damaged sidewalk due to tree roots. This location will be repaired with the rating system and the safety hazard concerns.
