Description
Follow up to a request I found in the system: DPW000219099. I agree that these four ways stop signs are not affective. Additional traffic calming measures are needed before someone gets hurt. There is a clear record of these requests continually being denied by the city, while all surrounding streets have speed humps. Is the neighborhood able to install traffic calming measures ourselves?

- Staff · November 20, 2025Speed measurements for “average speeds”: - Harlan Circle o Between Patterson Ave and Oak Lane = 16mph o Between Oak Lane and Harlan Rd = 19mph - Roseland Rd o Between Grove Ave and Harland Rd = 20mph - Oak Lane o Between Grove Ave and Harlan Circle = 17mph The speed samples are in general compliance with the posted 25mph speed and speed tables are not currently planned. The FY2026 Adopted Annual Fiscal Plan does not include funding for traffic calming improvements such as a traffic circle at the intersection of Harlan Circle and Oak Lane.
