Description
This is a very poorly designed blind curve. To the point that Pear St. has disallowed left turns because of the speed at which this turn is taken. The posted speed on this turn is 15mph, however this is very rarely observed and because of these increased speeds traffic going east regularly drifts into other lanes. A speed hump or road narrowing or something needs to be considered.

- Staff · November 18, 2025Main St is classified as an Urban Minor Arterial and carries about 14,000 vehicles a day. The Fire Marshall does not support speed tables given this strategic route for emergency vehicles. DPW staff will field review for signing needs.
