Description

This is a major and consistent crossing to a public park and is very unsafe with cars regularly going above the speed limit from either direction. The only other crossings are hundreds of yards out of the way and not easily accessible for pedestrians.

    This section of Dock Street is part of a federally funded project. Pedestrian safety and accessibility improvements to the Shockoe Bottom BRT stations, including new lighting, sidewalk construction, curb ramps, and crosswalks will be designed and constructed.
