Comments
- Staff · November 10, 2025Thank you for contacting the City of Richmond regarding your concern about a vehicle and vending setup near 102 W Broad Street. A Right-of-Way inspector visited the location during the reported time. The inspector spoke with the individual operating the tables and clothing racks and confirmed that he holds a valid City vendor license and was authorized to be there for the First Fridays event. Richmond Police were also on site and confirmed that his setup was permitted and in compliance. Photos were taken and added to our records. At the time of inspection, no violation of the City’s right-of-way requirements was observed related to the licensed vendor. However, we will continue to monitor activity in this area to ensure the sidewalk remains safe and accessible for pedestrians. If you notice any future obstructions or unsafe conditions—especially outside of permitted events—please don’t hesitate to contact RVA311 again. Thank you for helping us keep Richmond’s streets safe and accessible.
